Directions

TO FLAT HOLLOW TRAILHEAD:

From Lexington: Take I-64 east to the Mountain Parkway. Take exit 33 on the Mountain Parkway and turn right onto KY 11. Drive 14.1 miles south to KY 498, turn right. Drive 1.2 miles on KY 498 to Bald Rock Fork Rd (gravel, blue sign for "Hopewell Church of God") and turn right. Continue 1.2 miles on Bald Rock Fork Rd to the Flat Hollow Trailhead on the left. After 0.5 miles Bald Rock Fork Rd descends a steep hill and conditions vary throughout the year.

From Richmond/Irvine: From the Estill Co Courthouse in Irvine drive 18.4 miles east on KY 52. Turn left onto KY 498 and drive 1.2 miles to Bald Rock Fork Rd (gravel, blue sign for "Hopewell Church of God") and turn left. Continue 1.2 miles on Bald Rock Fork Rd to the Flat Hollow Trailhead on the left. After 0.5 miles Bald Rock Fork Rd descends a steep hill and conditions vary throughout the year.
